Ram Usage Mac
Hello.
I thought I knew the answer but, after fumbling with the explanation a couple of time, I guess I have to go back to Socrates's wisdom and admit that I don't know as much as I thought I knew (pfiu)!
So, here I am: sitting on the console of a Windows 2003 machine running the latest version of Process Explorer and looking at the details of a particular process.
What is the REAL memory usage of that process ? By 'real memory usage', I mean the total of all the memory allocated to that process that are counting toward the 2 gigabyte limitation of its virtual address space (The server is running with the /3gb startup switch but the application doesn't support it - yet) ?
Thanks
The Memory Usage tool lets you take one or more snapshots of the managed and native memory heap to help understand the memory usage impact of object types. You can also analyze memory usage without a debugger attached or by targeting a running app. For more information, see Run profiling tools with or without the debugger.

Support Memory Bandwidth Monitoring and Cache Monitoring Technologies in ksysguard plugin; Support OS X 10.11.2 and XCode 7.2; New usability enhancements and bug fixes; Version 2.11.1. Bug fixes References. For questions and comments about Intel PCM and its use-cases, we recommend the Software Tuning, Performance Optimization & Platform. In the Activity Monitor app on your Mac, click Memory (or use the Touch Bar) to see the following in the bottom of the window: Memory Pressure: Graphically represents how efficiently your memory is serving your processing needs. Memory pressure is determined by the amount of free memory, swap rate, wired memory, and file cached memory. Windows memory management is rocket science. And don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise. Since Windows 7 was released last October I've read lots of articles about the best way to measure.
